I know my handwriting is awful, but I just started using a tablet and I wasn't writing on a stable area, I was using my lap as a table lol. But here is my app for the upcoming opening of ! Anyway, I finally started drawing, and even with a tablet! I know the Glameow looks weird, but I'll explain why in the App Info right below here! (Plus I suck at drawing everything, especially animals :c)

Personality: Laurel is a bit quiet and odd at times, but she also has a very warm nature and loves to make new friends. She gets a little sad when criticized, but appreciates it and the advice greatly; although she becomes embarrassed about it for a very short amount of time. She will help anyone who needs it and doesn't mind to sacrifice some things for other people. She accepts people no matter what, even if they can be a little odd sometimes, but she still appreciates and accepts them for being themselves with her!

History: Laurel grew up on Raccolto when she was young until she was about the age of 10. Her parents decided to move away, but kept their farm. Unfortunately, they sold all of their animals when they moved for some extra money.

She went to school in between the ages of 10 and 18 as any normal person would and graduated as an honors student; although she never really excelled in anything in a great amount. During her school years, her parents were always pushing her to focus on her grades, and to do the best she could. They thought it would be a good way to keep her at home, studying; so they would know that she was safe and where she was. All of the nagging and criticisms from her parents made her, when getting corrected (or criticized especially), a little sad and shy of who she was talking to.

As she got older, she became more resistant to her parents' clingy and overprotective natures. She started to go out more, and even took some trips by herself or with some people that she knew enough to trust to some extent.

She got a part-time job working at the library down town after she stopped traveling. She held the job for one and a half years before she decided it was time for something new. She always yearned for more outside of the city and didn't like to be clustered in one spot with so many people at once.


So, when she turned 21, she decided that she was going to move back to Raccolto and live on her family's old farm. Her parents weren't too fond of this idea, but they wanted her to go and experience the world, so they thought that this would be the perfect opportunity. But that was only because Laurel was familiar with the area before and would be a good start for her. They let her know that they would worry about her (since they never really liked her going too far away, they were far too overprotective), but they also knew that they couldn't keep her with them forever.

With a sending of love from her parents, Laurel packed up her bags and headed back to Raccolto to see her old, now run-down, ranch. She knew that this would be a huge step in her life that she was about to take, but it would be fun.

As she got off of the boat and took her first steps onto Raccolto she began to grow nervous at the thought of meeting people all over again and having to begin anew with what she had. Determined, she held her head up high as she walked towards Amusement Archipelago, ready to get her work started.

Fun Facts:
Laurel is sometimes very jumpy and can be frightened easily.
Laurel's pet Glameow is a very odd one. She has much smaller ears, head, and whiskers compared to normal Glameows.
Laurel actually loves to meet new people! She's just too shy to start conversations with them most of the time, but will talk if she's approached first.
She absolutely loves Ducklettes and Torchics c: She has a thing for bird Pokemon~
Her hair isn't naturally curly; she takes time at night to put her hair in curlers so they will turn out that way in the morning.
She lost her country accent after spending so many years living in the city and now talks with a small lilt in her accent, but is still rather city like.
She also likes a swim now and then; along with other activities to stay in shape.
Laurel also loves to cook and can make a meal to anyone's pleasing!
